NILINAW ng aktres at style star na si Heart Evangelista na wala siyang matatanggap na sahod sa pagiging presidente ng Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.
Sa TikTok, ibinahagi ni Heart ang isang video kung saan ipinaliwanag niya na non-profit ang foundation.
“It’s a non-stock-non-profit organization. All is done from the heart and for the love of our nation! Indeed it’s an honor to share this with my fellow senate spouses,” aniya.
Itinatag ang SSFI, sey ni Heart, noong 1987 sa pangunguna ng mga misis ng mga senador sa pamamagitan ng kanilang “private capacities.”
Sa hiwalay na Instagram post, nagpapasalamat naman ang misis ni Senate President Chiz Escudero sa naturang posisyon.
“I am so honored to stand before everyone of you today as the new President of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. As I stand side by side with these men and women—my fellow spouses and officials who were involved in SSFI long before me, I could not help but be grateful for welcoming and supporting me in this challenging journey ahead,” aniya.
“As I have said during our very first meeting, l am ready to honor the challenge of working together to find ways to uplift our people and our communities,” dagdag niya.
