MAGHAHAIN ng apela ang Department of Justice sa Manila Regional Trial Court na nagbasura sa kanilang petisyon na ideklarang terorista ang Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army.
Ito ang sinabi ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla nitong Huwebes bilang tugon sa naging desisyon ng Manila RTC Branch 19 na nagbabasura sa petition for proscription base sa Section 17 ng Republic Act 9372 o Human Security Act of 2007.
“Manila court junks proscription? We will file an MR (motion for reconsideration), then if we have to, we will go to the CA (Court of Appeals),” pahayag ni Remulla.
“Alam nyo naman it’s something that the state has to [take] care of. When people are attacking the state, kinakailangan nating kumilos, we use the law for this purpose, and we will obey the law whatever the case is,” paliwanag pa nito.
