KINONDENA ng Palasyo ang ulat hinggil sa panibagong insidente ng harassment ng Chinese Coast Guard sa Ayungin Shoal.
Sinabi ni Acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles na base sa ulat ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), noong Martes, hinarang at binomba ng tubig ng tatlong barko ng China ang dalawang bangkang Pinoy na maghahatid sana ng suplay.
“As we have in the past, we will continue to assert our sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction over our territory,” sabi ni Nograles.
Mariin ding kinondena ng DFA ang insidente.
Sa isang kalatas, sinabi ni DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., na ilegal ang ginawa ng Chinese Coast Guard.
“The acts of the Chinese Coast Guard vessels are illegal. China has no law enforcement rights in and around these areas. They must take heed and back off,” pahayag nito.
