INIHAYAG ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla na kasama si suspended Bureau of Corrections chief Gerald Bantag sa mga kinasuhan kaugnay sa pagpatay sa broadcast commentator na si Percy Lapid.
Bukod kay Bantag kasama ring itinurong utak sa Lapid ambush-slay si BuCor deputy security officer Ricardo Zulueta.
Kasabay nito, hinimok nina Remulla at Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos sina Bantag at Zulueta na kusa nang sumuko at harapin ang kaso laban sa kanila.
“I’d like to ask Zulueta and DG Bantag to surrender and face the charges. If they are innocent, the law will uphold them and if they are guilty then they have to face the consequence,” sabi ni Remulla.
Ayon kay Remulla naglabas na rin ng lookout bulletin laban sa mga akusado.
