UMAASA si Pangulong Duterte na magiging matagumpay ang nalalapit na pagdaraos ng Tokyo Olympics na magsisimula sa Hulyo 23, 2021.
“Finally, we wish Japan success in mounting the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic Games,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa isinagawang virtual Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) Informal Leaders’ Retreat.
“Delayed by a year, Tokyo 2020 has now become a symbol of global unity and a testament to humanity’s boundless capacity to overcome odds,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
