It’s official, singer-actress Jennifer Lopez and former baseball star Alex Rodriguez are no longer a couple.
The two officially ended their four-year relationship following continued reports that they were trying to work things out.
E! News confirmed the JLo and Rodriguez have mutually agreed to call off their engagement. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said in a statement.
“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” the ex-couple added.
They also wished each other and their respective children the “best”.
Last month, reports had it that the two were going their separate lives on allegations of cheating on the part of the baseball star.
