SA buhos ng mga ipinangakong gantimpala matapos niyang masungkit ang silver medal sa Tokyo Olympics, sinabi ni Nesthy Petecio na maniniwala lamang siya sa mga premyo kapag napasakamay na niya ito.
“I’m being notified by my siblings and my friends. I just hope that I actually get them once I’m back in the Philippines,” aniya sa panayam ng mga mamamahayag.
“I’m confident with the MVP Sports Foundation and the Philippine Sports Commission, but not so much outside those pledges, since there are some who promised me a home,” dagdag niya.
Kabilang sa ipinangakong reward kay Petecio ang P17 milyon cash, kung saan P5 milyon ay mula sa PSC, tig- P5 milyon mula sa MVPSF at San Miguel Corporation, at P2 milyon mula kay Deputy House Speaker Mikee Romero.
Mayroon din umanong naghihintay na condominium unit sa kanya sa Davao City at house and lot sa Quezon.
“I really hope to get them. Or maybe just lay my eyes on wherever these houses may be. Perhaps smell them, right?” aniya.
