INANUNSYO ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) na ligtas kainin ang Lucky Me noodles na gawa sa Pilipinas dahil pasado ito sa antas ng ethylene oxide na pinapayagan sa Europe.
“The FDA wishes to clarify that all flavor variants of locally manufactured Lucky Me! Instant Noodle, namely Pancit Canton Regular, Pancit Canton Extra Hot Chili, Pancit Canton Chilimansi, and Instant Mami Beef Regular, including Pancit Canton Kalamansi pass the standard for ethylene oxide and are safe for consumption,” ayon sa FDA.
Ginawa ng FDA ang paglilinaw matapos na ma-recall ang ilan sa mga produkto ng brand mula sa European at Taiwanese market shelves dahil sa ethylene oxide.
