THE Pinoy Workers Partylist is projected to secure at least one seat in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections, according to the latest survey released by OCTA Research.
The group garnered 1.29 percent of the total votes in OCTA’s nationwide survey, which was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents.
Under the party-list system, groups that surpass the two-percent threshold are assured of one seat, but based on the distribution of votes and the limited number of seats available, even those with just above one percent are expected to obtain representation.
This puts Pinoy Workers among 13 party-list groups forecasted to claim at least one seat in the House of Representatives.
The survey also showed strong showings from other groups such as Agri (1.94%), Kalinga (1.93%), Uswag Ilonggo (1.91%), Agap (1.89%), and Anakalusugan (1.77%).
The inclusion of Pinoy Workers in the list highlights growing support for labor-focused representation in Congress.
The group has campaigned on platforms centered around job security, fair wages, and workers’ rights — resonating with a significant portion of the electorate.
