HINDI nawawalan ng pag-asa si Pangulong Duterte na magbabago pa ang isip ng kanyang anak na si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte at tuluyan itong tatakbo sa pagkapangulo sa 2022 elections.
“The President had told me that he wanted Mayor Sara to run. From the very beginning, the President believes that she is the most able candidate,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa kanyang briefing nitong Huwebes.
Hindi rin masabi ni Roque kung bibigyan ng basbas ni Duterte si dating Senador Bongbong Marcos bilang pambato ng administrasyon sa presidential race.
“At present, I do not know because the President and I are both hoping that Sara Duterte will still run for president,” pahayag pa ni Roque.
“We are praying for Mayor Sara to make the right decision… The voice of the people is the voice of God,” giit pa nito.
Muling inulit ni Sara na hindi siya tatakbo sa pagkapangulo dahil nais niyang tapusin muna ang ikatlong termino sa pagka-alkalde ng Davao City.
