WALANG balak isapubliko ni presidential aspirant at dating Senador Bongbong Marcos Jr. ang kanyang statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN) sakaling siya ang manalo sa darating na halalan, lalo na kung ito ay gagamitin para sa political attacks.
“Depends on what the purposes are for making them public. If that purpose is going to be for political attack then why would we want to do that?” ayon kay Marcos sa forum ng ALC media group.
Malaking lesson aniya sa kanya ang nangyari sa napatalsik na si dating Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona kung saan ginamit ang SALN nito para sa politikal na kadahilanan.
“If you look at it even more closely, it [impeachment] was a political decision, it was not an objective decision or an objective judgment on what he had done,” paliwanag ni Marcos.
“So if that is going to be the purpose for it, some political agenda, then I don’t see the reason why the SALN should be given,” dagdag pa ng nangungunang presidential candidate.
At kung sakaling pilitin siyang ilabas ito, hindi kailangan itong isapubliko kundi para gamitin lang sa korte.
