NAGLABAS ng resolusyon sina dating senador Rodolfo Biazon, Ramon Magsaysay Jr., Sergio Osmeña III at Wigberto Tañada na opisyal na nagpapahayag ng kanilang pagsurporta sa kandidatura sa pagkapangulo ni Vice President Leni Robredo.
Sa joint statement na pinirmahan ng 16 na indibidwal, iginiit nila na si Robredo ang pinaka kwalipikado sa lahat ng mga tumatakbo sa pagkapangulo ngayong 2022 elections.
“We deserve a president who is fearless, action-oriented, inclusive and decisive—leadership qualities that VP Leni has successfully demonstrated in the last six years despite the limited resources of her public office and undeserved open hostility from the present administration,” sabi ng resolusyon.
Bukod sa mga dating senador na naghayag ng kanilang suporta, lumagda rin sa resoluyon sina Reps. Tomas Apacible, Raul Daza and Felicito Payumo; dating Isabela Gov. Grace Padaca; dating Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, dating Agriculture Secretary Senen Bacani, Interior Secretary Cesar Sarino and Tourism Secretary Gemma Cruz-Araneta; dating Higher Education Commissioner Ester Garcia, dating Philippine Retirement Authority Chair Luis Sison; dating PTV4 Chair Virgilio Yuzon; at dating Poro Point Management Corp. Director Jose Osias.
