PITONG iba pang bansa ang isinailalim sa temporary travel ban sa harap ng banta ng Omicron variant.
Kabilang sa mga bansang isinailalim sa travel ban ang Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium at Italy na epektibo mula ngayong araw, Nobyembre 28 hanggang Disyembre 15, 2021.
Nauna nang nagpatupad ng ban sa South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini at Mozambique sa harap ng banta ng bagong Covid variant.
“On the other hand, passengers who have already arrived prior to November 28, 2021 and are currently undergoing quarantine pursuant to the classifications of their country of origin, as the case may be, shall complete their respective testing and quarantine protocols,” ayon kay Acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles.
