NANAWAGAN ang Department of Health (DOH) sa national government na mag-imbak na ng suplay ng oxygen bilang paghahanda sa pinangangambahang na pagdami ng kaso ng Covid-19 bunsod ng Delta variant.
“Tayo po ay nagpre-prepare for this Delta variant. Sabi nga natin it’s just a matter of time bago makapasok. Currently our existing oxygen supply is sufficient but we need to add additional so that we can be more prepared,” ani Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire sa isang panayam.
“Our hospitals are now more guided that they should be expanding their beds already,” dagdag niya.
Mas nakahahawa ang Delta variant at tiyak maoospital ang madadale nito.
“Kailangan lang po tayo ay very cautious. Ipatupad ang protocol natin for isolation of close contacts and those turning positive,” ayon sa opisyal.
“We will assess everyday so we can see if we need to heighten restrictions at kung kailangan magkaroon ulit ng NCR Plus bubble,” dagdag ni Vergeire.
