NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkabahala si Pangulong Duterte sa mga Muslim na ayaw pa ring magpabakuna dahil sa kanilang paniniwala.
“I think the Muslim community dito sa Pilipinas mukhang ang karamihan is of the belief that it is not allowed by their — I don’t know, is it religion or — I might be mistaken but it could be that or something else sa culture nila sa mga different — true for the Tausug,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People Lunes ng gabi.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na marami sa mga Muslim ay tumatanggi na maturukan ng bakuna laban sa Covid-19.
Aniya, patuloy ang kampanya ni Sulu Gov. Sakur Tan para makumbinsi ang kanyang mga kababayan.
“The report is that some of the Tausugs are — are not resisting anymore. I don’t know whether it was the report of the Tausug governor but maybe persuading them or actually kakaunti lang talaga,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
