MAKATATANGGAP ng cash at benepisyo ang pamilya ng mga sundalong nasawi sa pagbagsak ng C-130 plane, ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Bibigyan ng Office of the President ng P500,000 cash at pabahay, scholarship at health assistance ang mga naiwan ng mga nasawing sundalo habang makatatanggap din sila ng pensyon, financial assistance, at P80,000 funeral support mula sa AFP.
Mamimigay rin si Sulu Vice Governor Abdusakur Mahail Tan ng P30,000 sa pamilya ng 49 na nasawing sundalo.
“No amount can ever replace the lives of our brave comrades who paid the ultimate sacrifice in line of their duty to protect our people and the state. Extending financial assistance to their families and loved ones is the least that we can do for the invaluable services they have rendered to our country,” ani AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Cirilito Sobejana.
Samantala, nakatanggap na ng P12,000 bawat isa ang 47 sundalo na nasugatan sa insidente. May parating din silang tig-P10,000 mula sa Philippine Army at P15,000 mula sa 11th Infantry Division.
