KINUMPIRMA ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ang delay ng mga flights sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) dahil sa technical issue.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng CAAP nararanasan ang technical issue sa Air Traffic Management Center (ATMC) dahilan para mabalam ang domestic at international flights sa bansa.
“The safety of passengers is the priority of the agency and it is better to secure the aircrafts on the ground to avoid any airborne accident. We will keep you posted for the next advisor Asap,” sabi ng CAAP.
Nagpaumanhin na rin ang CAAP sa nangyayaring aberya.
Sa magkahiwalay na pahayag ng Philippine Airlines (PAL) at Cebu Pacific, inabisuhan ng mga ito ang mga pasahero sa delay ng kanilang mga flights.
“All flights have been temporarily put on hold, CEB is coordinating with the necessary authorities on when the situation will normalize,” sabi ng Cebu Pacific.
