MULING inilipat ng Korte Suprema ang araw ng 2020/2021 Bar Examinations sa Pebrero.
Gagawin na ang pagsusulit sa Pebrero 4 (Biyernes) at 6 (Linggo) imbes na sa Enero 23 hanggang 25, ayon sa naging unanimous decision ng mga Supreme Court En Banc, base sa ipinalabas na bulletin nitong Biyernes.
Ayon kay 2020/2021 Bar Exams chairperson Associate Justice Marvic Leonen na mahigit 16 porsyento ng mga Bar examinees ang tinamaan ng COVID-19.
“As of today, 16.8% of the 8,546 Bar examinees who have responded to an email of the Office of the Bar Chairperson are any of the three: positive for COVID-19; living with someone positive for COVID-19; or under quarantine due to direct contact,” ayon kay Leonen.
“They are at risk of not being able to take the Bar examinations if the original schedule of January 23 to 25, 2022 were to push through,” dagdag pa ni Leonen.
Sinabi rin nito na magiging “critically understaffed” sila kung sakaling ituloy ang una nang na-schedule na pagsusulit.
