DARATING sa Pilipinas si Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan para sa tatlong-araw na pagbisita na layong paigtingin ang economic, security at political cooperation sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs, magaganap ang opisyal na pagbisita ni Balakrishnan mula Abril 15 hanggang April 17.
“Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo will meet with Foreign Minister Balakrishnan to discuss ways to further strengthen Philippines-Singapore relations, as well as to exchange views on regional and international developments,” ayon sa kalatas.
Ang pagbisita ni Balakrishnan ay kasunod ng matagumpay na pagpupulong ng 6th Informal-Consultations on the Philippine-Singapore Action Plan (IC-PSAP) noong Pebrero.
“The current visit is expected to build on the gains of the IC-PSAP and plan for future engagements as relations between the two countries continue to deepen,” dagdag ng DFA.
Huling bumisita si Balakrishnan sa Pilipinas noong Hunyo 13, 2017.
