SENATOR Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa took to social media to express his pride in his son, Rock Dela Rosa, who recently graduated from the Special Forces School.
“My Rock is now a member of the ‘Swift, Silent and Fearless’ Green Berets,” the senator said in a Facebook post.
“Congratulations on your graduation from the Special Forces School as a member of the Special Forces Operations Course Class 148,” he added.
Dela Rosa, a former police chief, said his son’s achievement fulfilled a dream he himself was unable to pursue in his youth.
“Your accomplishments of becoming a Special Forces, Airborne, and Scout Ranger were once my youthful dream that never came true—and for that, please acknowledge my forthwith salute. So proud of you, my son,” he said.
