TANGING “no comment” lang ang sagot ni Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte nang muling uriratin kaugnay sa pangha-harass ng China sa mga Pilipino sa West Philippine Sea.
Sa isang interview, tinanong ni Duterte ukol sa mga puna sa kanya kaugnay sa China issue pero “no comment” lang ang tugon niya.
Idinagdag niya na nasabi na raw ng kapatid niyang si Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte ang kanyang posisyon.
“No comment. I think comprehensive na iyong statement ni Paolo Duterte about me and the West Philippine Sea,” sabi ni Duterte.
Matatandaan na inihayag ni Rep. Duterte na hindi trabaho ng kapatid niya ang makisawsaw sa panggigipit ng China sa mga mangingisdang Pinoy sa karagatang pag-aari ng Pilipinas.
“The question on the actions of Chinese vessels in the WPS should be directed to the chief architect of foreign policy, the Secretary of National Defense and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs,” ayon sa mambabatas.
“It is not the job of the Vice President or the Secretary of the Department of Education to demonize China or any country for that matter,” dagdag niya.
