PORMAL nang nanumpa bilang susunod na Vice President si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte ngayong linggo.
Ginawa ang panunumpa sa Davao City kasama ang buo niyang pamilya sa pangunguna ng amang si outgoing President Diterte.
Si Supreme Court Justice Ramon Paul Hernando ang nag-administer ng kanyang oath-taking matapos ang thanksgiving mass na pinangunahan naman ni Archbishop Romulo Valles sa San Pedro Cathedral alas 3 ng hapon.
Matapos ang pormal na panunumpa, isang musical festival naman ang inialay ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa mga Dabawenyo.
Ginawa ni Duterte ang kanyang oath-taking ngayong araw para makadalo siya sa panunumpa ng kanyang ka-a
mass, attended by Archbishop Romulo Valles, was held at the San Pedro Cathedral at 3 p.m.
President Rodrigo Duterte, Sara’s father, attended the inauguration.

A musical festival followed the inaugural ceremony.
Aside from being vice president, Duterte will also serve as education secretary under the incoming administration of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., her running mate.
The incoming vice president will hold office at the Quezon City Reception House — where outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo held office — and at the Department of Education Central Office in Pasig City.
