INANUNSYO ng Polytechnic University of Philippines (PUP) na pansamantalang sususpindihin nito ang face-to-face classes at gagawin itong online sa susunod na dalawang linggo ngayong buwan.
Dahil sa tindi ng init ng panahon na sasamahan pa ng nakatakdang transport strike, nagdesisyon ang pamunuan ng PUP na gawin ang pasok online sa lahat ng campus nito sa buong bansa simula Abril 15 hanggang 30.
“In consideration of the high heat index being experienced in the whole country and of the reported series of nationwide transport strikes, scheduled in-person classes in all PUP campuses shall shift to online mode of delivery (synchronous or asynchronous) starting April 15 until April 30, 2024,” ayon sa anunsyo ng unibersidad.
“Laboratory classes, as well as other scheduled curricular/extracurricular activities, however, may proceed subject to consultation with the students,” dagdag pa nito.
Una nang nagbanta ang mga transport groups ng malawakang kilos protesta hinggil sa nalalapit na deadline ng Public Utility Vehicles Consolidation Program sa Abril 30.
Sisimulan ang sunod-sunod na transport strike sa Lunes, abril 15, 2024.
