DAPAT kumilos ang Estados Unidos at ang mga kaalyado nitong bansa sa patuloy na pambabraso ng China sa South China Sea, ayon kay Senator Rick Scott ng Florida.
Kamakailan ay dumalaw sa bansa si Scott at nakipagpulong kay Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, National Security Adviser Eduardo Año, Department of Foreign Affairs Office of American Affairs Assistant Secretary Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri at mga miyembro ng American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, kung saan napag-usapan ang patuloy na pambu-bully ng China sa West Philippine Sea.
Kailangan anyang magkaisa ang US at mga kaalyado at partners nito na mapahinto ang ginagawang pambu-bully ng China.
“It’s important that South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Australia and the European Union – we all recognize the risk if communist China gets (its) way,” ayon sa senador.
“If you look at Chinese bullying of Filipino fishermen, everybody acknowledges that China is a bully. They want to lord over as many people as they can,” dagdag pa nito.
