IPINAGTANGGOL ng singer-songwriter na si Ogie Alcasid ang co-host sa noontime show na “It’s Showtime” na si Vice Ganda laban sa mga bashers nito.
Sa X/Twitter, iginiit ni Ogie na ang tanging layon lang ni Vice ay magbigay ng saya sa publiko.
“This is long overdue. There is a friend i know who comes to work only having the sole intention of making people happy. This person takes it all- for the team, for the show, and for the madlang pipol,” ani Ogie.

Maraming fans ang nagpasalamat kay Ogie sa ginawa niyang pagtatanggol kay Vice pero may mangilan-ngilan din ang pumuna sa kanya.
“A true friend never tolerate someone’s bastos and mapagmataas behaviour, dapat pagsabihan… never use “imperfect” as he is, kasi it depends on how he perceived and accepted his imperfections in other areas but tend to disregard his bastos and arogante na behaviour.”
