IKINATUWA ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang pagbaba ng unemployment rate ng limang porsiyento nitong Setyembre.
“Ever since we started with the economic team, even before I took office, we really concentrated on the creation of jobs. And that’s why it is having the effect now of bringing down our employment rate,” sabi ni Marcos.
Ayon sa ulat ng PSA, nasa 5.3 porsyento ang unpemployment rate nitong Setyembre — o 2.5 milyon ang walang trabaho mas mababa kumpara sa 2.68 milyon na naitala noong Agosto.
“This is a good sign. The economy is trying very hard to grow. We just have to be able to tolerate the shocks that are coming from abroad. But otherwise, the economy is moving in the right direction,” dagdag ni Marcos.
