NANINDIGAN si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na hindi niya papayagan ang International Criminal Court na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa bansa hinggil sa war on drugs.
Ayon sa pangulo, hindi magbabago ang una niyang pasya na wag payagan ang ICC na mag-imbestiga rito lalo pa’t magbubukas ito ng “Pandora’s box” at nanatili ang kuwesyon hinggil sa hurisdiksyon.
“It opens a Pandora’s box. It’s still those questions of jurisdiction and sovereignty. I haven’t yet seen a sufficient answer for it. Until then, I do not recognize their jurisdiction in the Philippines,” ayon kay Marcos sa isang ambush interview.
“No (I won’t change my mind). It’s not about the evidence. It’s about the jurisdiction of the ICC in the Philippines. They could produce as much evidence as they want. But they could not act upon it in the Philippines, that is the point,” punto pa ni Marcos.
