Kaso vs killer ni Killua kasado na

KAKASUHAN sa Lunes, March 25, ang lalaki mula sa Bato, Camarines Sur na pumatay sa asong si Killua, ayon sa Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).


Nahaharap si Anthony Solares sa kasong paglabag sa Animal Welfare Act of 1998 na may parusang kulong na hanggang isang taon at multa na P30,000.


Kaugnay nito, kinondena ng PAWS si Solares sa palusot nito na napatay niya ang Golden Retriever bilang self-defense.


“The animal offender claims that this was an act of self-defense, but video evidence shows that Killua, the dog, was being chased by him and none of the elements of self-defense (unlawful aggression, reasonable necessity of the means employed to repel the attack, and lack of provocation on the part of the person defending himself) were present,” giit ng PAWS.


”Further, there are humane ways of animal control. The City Veterinarian’s Office can be called in for this task. Clearly, there was no reason for Killua to be killed in this manner, as she was not harming anyone,” dagdag ng grupo.


Matatandaan na hinampas ng bato at kahoy ni Solares ang aso dahil kinagat umano nito ang kanyang asawa at isang matandang kapitbahay.
