DLSU mourns death of law student

THE De La Salle University (DLSU) Tañada-Diokno School of Law has expressed grief over the death of one of its students who was earlier reported missing.

In a statement posted on Facebook on Sunday, June 22, the law school confirmed the passing of the student, identified only as “Anthony.”

“School administrators have been in contact with the family since the student was first reported missing, and guidance counselors are in constant communication with the classmates,” the statement read.

“We call on the community to unite as a family as we continue to pray during this time of profound grief,” it added.

Anthony’s brother, Ricky, confirmed the death but declined to provide further details. Initial findings by authorities indicated no foul play was involved.

Ricky also appealed for privacy so their family could grieve in peace.
