KINUMPIRMA ng Department of Education (DepEd) ngayong Martes ang pagbibitiw ng limang opisyal epektibo Hulyo 19, kung kailan opisyal na aalis sa departamento si Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sinabi ni DepEd Undersecretary at Spokesperson Michael Poa na isa siya sa lima na nagbitiw bilang pahahanda sa bagong papasok na kalihim na si Senador Sonny Angara.
Ang apat na iba pa na nagbitiw ay sina Undersecretary for Administration Nolasco Mempin, Assistant Secretary Sunshine Fajarda, Assistant Secretary for Procurement Reynold Munsayac, at Assistant Secretary for Administration Noel Baluyan.
“I think it is only appropriate to give the incoming Secretary of Education, Secretary Angara, a free hand to choose the people that will form part of his team,” paliwanag ni Poa.
“I will just wait for instructions from the Vice President, if any,” ani pa ni Poa nang tanungin kung sasama ito sa tanggapan ni Duterte sa OVP.
Sa Huwebes gagawin ang ang pormal na turnover.
