SEVERAL areas will continue to experience rain on Tuesday due to shearline and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said.
The shearline affecting the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon will bring scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan, and Aurora.
The ITCZ affecting the western section of Mindanao and Palawan will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga del Norte and Palawan.
Heavy to intense rains are forecast over Quezon and Camarines Norte, while moderate to heavy rains are expected over Aurora, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, and Sorsogon.
Flash floods or landslides are possible in those areas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao, and isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon due to the northeast monsoon.
Strong to gale winds will prevail across Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters will be experienced over the rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
