PH to experience warm, humid weather on Easter Sunday

THE country will continue to experience warm and humid weather on Easter Sunday due to easterlies or warm air from the east, which is still the dominant weather system affecting the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Temperatures for the day will range from 26.0°C to 35°C.

In its forecast, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Davao Occidental, Davao Oriental, and Sarangani, and flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur, the weather bureau warned.

Meanwhile, no low pressure area has been spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate in the country. (PNA)
