“I am in constant contact with Defense Secretary Jose Faustino Jr., who also chairs the NDRRMC (National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council), as well as with DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development) Secretary Erwin Tulfo and Secretary Renato Solidum of the DOST (Department of Science and Technology),” sabi ni Marcos.
Dumating kaninang umaga si Marcos mula sa anim na araw na working visit sa New York.
Idinagdag ni Marcos na kausap din niya si Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos para sa posibleng paglilikas ng mga residente na sa mababang lugar na lantad sa mga pagbaha.
Ayon sa Palasyo, nagsagawa na rin ng kaukulang paghahanda ang mga regional field offices ng Department of Agriculture na apektado ng super typhoon.
