THE country will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the weather bureau said Batanes province including Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Residents are warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The entire archipelago will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
