‘Habagat’ continues to bring rains over Luzon Saturday

THE southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, the weather bureau said Saturday.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon due to the “habagat,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas, while the Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 29°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 21°C; Tuguegarao City, 25°C to 31°C; Laoag City, 25°C to 28°C; Legazpi City, 26°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 31°C; Metro Davao, 25°C to 34°C; and Zamboanga City, 25°C to 34°C.
