THE northeast monsoon and the easterlies will bring some rains over parts of the country, the weather bureau said Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Davao Region, Caraga, and Soccsksargen will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains, PAGASA warned.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail over Metro Manila, the Ilocos and Cordillera regions, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon due to the northeast monsoon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Moderate winds and moderate seas will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon.
The rest of the archipelago will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
