Meanwhile, the ITCZ would bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Soccsksargen, Davao Occidental, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
Flash floods or landslides are possible in those areas due to moderate to heavy rains, PAGASA added.
The ITCZ will continue to cause isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
The rest of the country will still experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas continue to prevail across the archipelago.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said no low pressure area was monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation as of 2 a.m.
On Wednesday, the weather bureau also announced that there is a slim chance for the country to experience a tropical cyclone until the month-end. (PNA)
