2 weather systems continue to affect PH

TWO weather systems will continue to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported on Sunday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), Western Visayas and Zamboanga Peninsula will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

The entire archipelago will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 32°C; Baguio City, 18°C to 24°C; Tuguegarao City, 25°C to 36°C; Laoag City, 25°C to 33°C; Legazpi City, 26°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 31°C; Puerto Princesa City, 24°C to 32°C; Metro Davao, 25°C to 33°C; and Zamboanga City, 24°C to 32°C.
