THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) has confiscated the driver’s license of motorvlogger Alyanna Mari Aguinaldo—also known as Yanna Motovlog— following a road rage incident that made the rounds online.
Yanna turned in her license on May 8 to Renante Melitante, head of the LTO’s Intelligence and Investigation Division, in compliance with a 90-day preventive suspension.
However, she failed to surrender the motorcycle involved in the incident.
Through her legal counsel, Yanna explained that the motorcycle wasn’t hers, but belonged to a friend.
LTO officials later confirmed that the vehicle was not registered in her name. Authorities said they will summon the motorcycle’s registered owner to appear and present the vehicle at the next hearing.
“This should send a strong message to all motorists that reckless driving and road rage will not be tolerated,” said LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II.
The agency is still deliberating on whether to revoke Yanna’s license permanently
