SOCIAL media personality Xander Ford’s public plea for free dental procedures has paid off.
In a Facebook post, Xander shared a photo of himself in a dentist’s chair, writing, “Sa wakas, malapit na din ako makapag-toothbrush!” while tagging the clinic that agreed to fix his crowns and veneers for free.
On Monday, PINOY PUBLIKO reported that Xander was appealing for help to fix his teeth, saying he couldn’t afford the cost of dental procedures.
“Kahit pumunta ako sa kahit saang dentist, alam ko na wala namang tatanggap sa akin. Siyempre, hindi naman ako sikat, hindi na ako kilala,” he said.
He admitted that dental work like veneers and crowns is beyond his budget.
“Inaamin ko na hindi ko talaga kaya ipagawa ‘tong ngipin ko. Sobrang mahal,” he added.
Xander also appealed to those who might know dentists willing to help, saying, “Sana may mga tao diyan na kaya akong tulungan pagdating dito sa oral health ko. Baka may kilala kayong dentist, sana ma-PM n’yo po ako.”
