CONTROVERSIAL social media personality Rendon Labador has found a new online target: JP Abecilla, the self-described “award-winning blogger” who recently trended after walking out of a Starbucks branch over a misspelled name on his drink.
On his Facebook page, Labador mocked Abecilla for making a fuss out of the minor mistake, describing him as a “social climber.”
“Mahirap magkamali kapag social climber ang customer. Bihira lang kasi sila makapag-Starbucks kaya pagpasensyahan na lang po ninyo. Ako na ang humihingi ng paumanhin,” Labador wrote in a post that has since gone viral.
He then followed it up with a blunt message in the comments section: “Pag wala kayong pera mag-3-in-1 nalang kayo. Panget ka na nga, mareklamo ka pa.”
Labador’s remarks came after Abecilla shared on Facebook about his Starbucks experience, where he claimed to have been disrespected by a barista who allegedly wrote “JC” instead of his name.
The video quickly drew mixed reactions online, some criticizing the barista for being “unprofessional,” while many accused Abecilla of overreacting and seeking attention.
In response to Labador’s harsh words, Abecilla fired back with his own post: “Syempre trending tayo, kaya todo sawsaw ang mga forda views lang habol tas puro limos sa kanilang followers!”
“At kumahol na nga ang aso ni Diwata na sumikat dahil sa pagkahol sa kung sino-sinong nilalang. Pero mas bumenta pa rin sa 31M ang tig 20 pesos na bigas kesa sa kanyang #MotivationalRice,” he added.
