Philmar’s controversial ‘224’ tattoo still intact

DESPITE speculation, pro-surfer Philmar Alipayo did not have his controversial “224” tattoo covered up.

In a Facebook video posted Wednesday, Philmar shared footage of his tattoo session at Island Tattoo and Piercing Studio in Siargao, where artist Toto Swabe inked an image of his pet dog on his right arm.

During the session, Philmar was seen covering his “224” tattoo with a tissue, fueling rumors that he had it removed or altered. However, the tattoo remained intact.

The matching “224” tattoo, which symbolizes “2Day, 2Morrow, 4Ever,” was inked over a week ago with his best friend, Pernilla Sjoo.

The tattoo sparked controversy after Philmar’s fiancée, actress Andi Eigenmann, publicly expressed feeling betrayed by Pernilla.

It was at the same tattoo studio where Philmar and Pernilla got the ink after he and Andi had a fight.
