KAPWA pumasa sa Bar Examinations ang mag-inang Glenda at Nicole Ann Ponce ng Cebu City.
Sa Facebook post, nagbigay-pugay si Nicole sa ina na tinawag niya na “officially the most accomplished woman we know.”
Si Glenda, 58, ay isa ring civil engineer.
“At 58 years old, my superwoman mother is a licensed civil engineer, master in public administration with a full scholarship from the civil service commission, and now an ATTORNEY. In the words of my sister Lara Ponce “she is officially the most accomplished woman we know,” ani Nicole.
“In her early 50s mama decided to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. I remember how she would get home late after long hours in law school and working full time during the day. On top of that, she raised four strong-willed, stubborn children who did not make life easy. And yet, she thrived. Our greatest role model. Our lighthouse,” sabi niya.
“Today, we celebrate our Mama Glenda and all the DREAMERS who refuse to give up on their dreams. It’s never too late. And you are never too old (or too young). Go get that degree or whatever it is your heart desires the most,” dagdag pa niya.
Nagtapos ng Law si Glenda sa University of the Visayas habang sa University of San Carlos nag-aral si Nicole.
