VLOGGER Junieboss said he would share with his followers the revenue earned from a video documenting an alleged assault against him on New Year’s Eve, as the incident continued to draw wide attention online.
In a Facebook vlog posted on January 1, Junieboss recounted that he was attacked by motorcycle-riding men following a confrontation on the road shortly before the New Year. “Binanatan tayo. Grabe ginawa sa’kin bago mag-New Year,” he said.
The video showed the vlogger riding a motorcycle while wearing a face mask when another motorcycle allegedly rammed into him.
Junieboss claimed that one of the men kicked him in the face, prompting him to remove his mask and get off his motorcycle.
Moments later, several other men allegedly ganged up on him. He sustained bruises and injuries to his nose and was given immediate medical attention by a first aid team. Police officers also arrived at the scene shortly after.
Junieboss later went to a police station to file complaints against those he identified as his attackers and vowed to pursue the matter through legal channels.
“Hindi ko papalagpasin ’to… Idaan na lang natin sa legal,” he added.
As the video gained millions of views, Junieboss told followers he would temporarily hold off on further updates and instead disclose the earnings generated by the clip.
“Grabe view ng nangyare saken di muna tayo mag update magshare muna ako ng kinita nung video,” he said.
He also apologized for the delay in providing updates and acknowledged possible lapses on his part.
“Paxenxa na mga di pa tayo makapag update ngayon… pinaprocess na po namin. Sorry kung may mali man kame nagawa netong New Year, paxenxa na kung nagpaingay kame,” he said.
