CONTENT creator and businesswoman Jam Magno hit back at netizens who mocked her for riding a passenger ship and sharing a candid photo that quickly went viral.
In a series of posts on her Facebook page, Jam addressed netizens who reposted and ridiculed her photo taken while she and her family were walking on the dock toward the ship.
“So your point is I should be ashamed for taking the ship? You’re ridiculous,” she said in Filipino and Bisaya. “I’m not ashamed at all.”
She added: “Imagine how stupid you have to be to make a big deal out of my normal commute. That’s how small your thinking is if you believe that will affect me.”
Magno said she was unbothered by the photo, which some netizens edited using AI to further mock her.
She even shared that fellow passengers approached her for selfies, including a woman from Talamban who was traveling with her daughter.
“That’s why I’m not affected by that ‘ugly photo.’ Even if I didn’t look great in it, people still came up to me nicely to ask for selfies,” she said.
She addressed her critics directly, saying: “You don’t like me, but you can’t stop posting about me. You’re so obsessed.”
She ended her post with a sarcastic farewell: “If hating on me helps you make money, then you’re welcome. May you all rest in peace from your bitterness.”
