Filipinos seek arrest of Russian content creator for harassment

FILIPINOS have called on authorities to arrest and charge Russian content creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy for allegedly harassing people in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, and disrespecting business staff in Boracay.

Public outrage erupted after a video circulated on X showing Zdorovetskiy threatening to rob a woman who refused his offer of money. When she declined, he insulted her, calling her a “liberal f*ck” for wearing a face mask.

In another incident, the Russian grabbed a mall guard’s hat, ran away, and refused to return it, mocking the security personnel in the process.

Before the BGC incidents, Zdorovetskiy angered Boracay residents by disrespecting staff at We Sportz, a local business. He allegedly refused to wear a required safety helmet during an activity and proceeded to mock employees.

During a livestream, he urged his followers to sabotage the business by flooding its Google page with fake 1-star reviews. His online harassment reportedly triggered a wave of false ratings, harming We Sportz’s reputation.

“This act of online harassment didn’t just stop with words; it triggered a wave of fake reviews that have been harming the reputation of We Sportz, which had to defend itself against this baseless attack,” a netizen said.
