A COLLEGE student and dean’s lister from Maguindanao has come under fire online after allegedly refusing to promptly return nearly ₱20,000 mistakenly sent to his e-wallet account.
In a viral Facebook post, Christabelle Tan of Las Piñas said ₱18,950 was accidentally sent to the wrong GCash number on May 2. The recipient, identified as Nurhamien Ali, allegedly agreed to return only half of the amount.
Ayaw mo pang ibalik kasi ipangnenegosyo mo pa kamo.”
Tan claimed efforts to contact Ali through friends and relatives were ignored.
Screenshots shared online also showed Ali allegedly posting about food and personal items he may have purchased using the money. Sarap bang kumain gamit ‘yung perang ‘di n’yo pinaghirapan?” Tan asked.
In response, Ali denied spending the money and said he was offended by the tone of the sender and their family.
“Wala akong ginalaw sa pera n’yo dahil may pera din ako,” he wrote on social media. I told you to clean your mess pero nagmamatigas kayo, edi sabayan ko kayo. At the first place, dedma ako sa basher dahil ‘di rin naman ako affected jan sa murang halaga ng pera n’yo.”
He added: “Nagpapakatotoo lang ako.”
