BOY DILA, the 22-year-old from San Juan who went viral last year for splashing strangers during the Wattah Wattah Festival, has sold his iconic water gun to Boss Toyo for ₱8,500.
The viral personality, who was recently jailed for catcalling a minor, said he needed the money to pay back the person who covered his bail.
“Pinangutang ko lang po ‘yung pinangpiyansa ko,” he said. “Ipambabayad ko lang po ng utang.”
Boy Dila originally priced the toy gun at ₱15,000 but eventually accepted Boss Toyo’s offer of P8,500.
The water gun was the same one he used during last year’s controversial street festival that brought him online fame.
