ACTRESS Yassi Pressman was reportedly the actress snubbed by fellow star Julia Montes for being “too close” to her partner Coco Martin, according to showbiz insider Ogie Diaz.
In a recent interview with DJ Chacha, Julia was asked if she had confronted the woman allegedly circling her partner, Coco Martin. “I didn’t talk to her,” Julia said. “Pero pinaramdam ko. Kasi wala nang point para kausapin ko siya. […] Super warm ako, e. Alam kapag okay ako sa ‘yo o hindi. So, hindi rin ako plastic. Hindi ako showbiz.”
She added, “‘Pag hindi ako okay sa ‘yo, hindi kita papansinin. […] Nag-hi siya. [Sabi niya] ‘Hi po.’ E, ka-batch ko lang. ‘Excuse me. Maka-po ka naman,’ [sabi ko] with smile.”
Ogie, who discussed the interview on his showbiz vlog, identified the actress Julia referred to as Yassi, who previously starred alongside Coco in the ABS-CBN series “Ang Probinsiyano.”
The 2018 clip of Coco and Yassi on set, which went viral, appeared to show them kissing.
Coco, however, clarified that it was only a friendly peck. “[B]eso-beso lang ‘yon,” he said.
As of this writing, Yassi has yet to issue a statement or reaction to Julia’s remarks.
