Yasmien Kurdi’s daughter returns to regular school after bullying incident

ACTRESS Yasmien Kurdi announced that her daughter, Ayesha Zara, will return to regular school after being homeschooled due to bullying.

In a statement shared on social media, Yasmien expressed relief and gratitude that Ayesha had made progress after undergoing therapy with a child psychologist.

“We’re so happy to share that Ayesha has now been given clearance by her child psychologist and, in coordination with the new school’s counseling office, she’s ready to return to a bigger school environment,” she said.

The actress added that the motto of Ayesha’s new school, “Here, Change Begins,” resonated with their family. “It reminds us that every child deserves a fresh start in a supportive, safe space.”

Yasmien and her husband, Rey Soldevilla, had previously withdrawn Ayesha from her former school after she was reportedly bullied by classmates. The incident caused their daughter to experience trauma and anxiety, prompting the couple to file a complaint and enroll Ayesha in home school while she received therapy.

“We’ve been assured that Ayesha, along with every student, will be nurtured and protected,” Yasmien said. “God is good, and we’re so grateful she’ll be in good hands this time.”
